help plz
#1
So like there's this thing on mario kart that makes me crash it's like a female quake voice mod that i did not install and i think it's part of the server. Whenever i crash there's a message that pops up it says "out of memory or address space. Texture quality may be too high."  if anyone can help me figure this out please do, i've already tried uninstalling the game, verifying my game cache, and messing around with the texture quality nothing changed so i'm fairly certain it's the red text that floods my console, and its been going on for about 3 months now.

heres screenshot of my console when i join the server

i had this problem too, i guess its cause of the inferno update, ur suppose to delete this file called sound.cache in your tf2 folder, nothing else fixed it for me (validating game files, reinstalling, etc.)

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\sound\sound.cache
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\download\sound\sound.cache

u can also paste this in cmd (run it as administrator first):
del "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\sound\sound.cache"
del "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\download\sound\sound.cache"

btw, join the discord, u will get a faster response the next time something happens: https://discord.gg/P8NeMVx

i would also delete ur sound folder as well, try deleting sound.cache and if all else fails delete ur sound folder
